This town rolls up their sidewalks at around 3.pm in the winter. So, don't expect much.
This place was a life saver... Like the other reviews say, "small rooms". But they were clean and warm. I was stranded here for 3 days because of an ice storm. This is the ONLY motel for miles and miles. It's about 300 feet from the Canadian border crossing.
Staff is friendly and they let me plug in my engine block heater for no extra charge.
Very small rooms. Bout 10×10 ft. Not disgusting tho. Fullsize bed, microwave, tv. It's the only hotel for miles so they have you by the short hairs. On Saturdays and Sundays you better get here early if you want a room because the guy that gives you the room key also runs the gas station and he leaves at 5 o'clock. I arrived at 5:01 pm and the door to the gas station was locked and lights were out. Luckily he was still standing at the register. They neglected to mention that on the phone when I got my reservation.
